-
One Transparent Fee
Pay a monthly convenient fee for full access to your doctor from your phone, computer and in-person! Additional fees may be necessary for specific procedural services.
-

Diagnostic Testing
Get access to member-only, wholesale pricing on labs and imaging!
Hospital systems and insurance-based models outrageously inflate lab prices. While they swindle people for more than $75 for a test like a CBC, we charge just over $2.
Unique to our practice are skills in point-of-care ultrasound to provide true, in-office diagnostics and guided injections you won’t find in almost any primary care office.
-
Access To Care
Self-schedule anytime from your patient hub, and use virtual care and text communication when convenient and appropriate. There are no limitations on the number office visits. You always have access to your doctor and can expect a timely response when needed.
-

The Basics of Primary Care
In case you haven’t experienced high-quality, innovative care or just haven’t had a primary care doctor (PCP, general practitioner, family doctor, etc) in a while.
Your Go-To for Everyday Health Questions and Concerns
Even healthy, active people run into issues — a lingering cough, new joint stiffness, stomach troubles, skin changes, headaches, or a minor injury that isn’t improving. Primary care is where all of that gets evaluated quickly and thoroughly. At Highpoint, you get a physician who knows you, answers your questions directly, and sees you promptly for anything from illnesses to injuries to general health questions. No guessing, no long waits, and no bouncing between urgent cares.
Staying Healthy Means Being Proactive, Not Reactive
Many people avoid going to the doctor because they feel fine — until something becomes impossible to ignore. Good primary care prevents that. We help you stay ahead of common health issues by assessing foundational lifestyle principles, family history risks, appropriate vaccines and evidence-based screenings. You get personalized, innovative guidance from doctors who understand busy lifestyles and want to help you stay healthy long term, not just treat you when something goes wrong
Real Medical Care, All in One Place
Primary care at Highpoint isn’t just quick check-ins — it’s comprehensive care with on-site diagnostics and procedures. We perform point-of-care ultrasound, ECGs, lab draws, joint and tendon evaluations, skin procedures, and more, allowing most issues to be diagnosed and treated in the same visit. Whether you’re dealing with a new injury, persistent fatigue, a skin concern, or simply want to understand your health better, you get timely access and clear answers without unnecessary referrals or delays.
Remote access membership
High-quality primary care doesn’t have to depend on being in the same room. Our Remote Access Care membership brings you direct access to your physician - no phone trees, no rushed visits, and no barriers -wherever you are.
For $125 per month or $1,375 per year, you receive ongoing, physician-led care designed for patients who prefer virtual support or live too far for frequent in-office visits.
-
Only select states are eligible for remote access care due to physician licensing requirements. Colorado residents qualify if they live outside the Denver-Metro area.
Washington state - Dr. Matthews and Dr. Bross
Utah, Montana, Wyoming - Dr. Bross only
-
Direct Access to Your Physician
Text, call, or schedule virtual visits with your doctor for timely medical guidance, follow-up, medication management, and ongoing support. You get the same physician-led expertise and continuity as our full in-person membership.
Same or Next-Day Virtual Visits
When life happens, you can connect quickly with the physician who already knows you and your health history—no urgent care guessing, no walk-in clinics, no unfamiliar providers.
Comprehensive Chronic & Preventive Care
We guide you through lifestyle changes, lab interpretations, preventive screenings, mental health care, medication adjustments, and long-term health planning—all from the convenience of your home.
-
Remote Access Care includes the same high-quality primary care, with two differences for in-person services:
$50 In-Office Visit Fee
If you choose to come into the clinic for an exam or evaluation, visits are available at a flat $50 service fee.
Procedures Are Fee-for-Service
Any office-based procedures—such as laceration repair, dermatologic biopsies/excisions, joint injections, or in-office diagnostics—are offered at transparent, upfront pricing.
This allows patients who primarily prefer remote care to access the same high-level clinical services when needed, without paying for in-person availability they may rarely use.
Who Remote Access Care Is Right For
Patients who live outside easy driving distance
Individuals who travel frequently
Busy patients who prefer virtual medical care
Those who want direct access to a physician but rarely need in-office procedures
Patients who value transparent pricing and convenience
Patients age 26 and up - younger patients benefit more from our age-based pricing
What people are saying
Here’s What Patient’s Ask the Most
-
YES - You can absolutely use your insurance for most outside services such as labs, imaging, vaccines, and prescriptions. Just remember: when insurance is involved, they determine what’s covered, what hoops you need to jump through, and what you ultimately pay.
Because we receive contracted wholesale pricing through Quest Diagnostics, many labs are dramatically less expensive when billed directly - often much cheaper than using insurance.
Example: Routine lab work
Using insurance: Coverage varies by plan, and final costs are unpredictable. A basic panel can range widely, and patients often don’t know the price until the bill arrives.
Paying cash: Through our Quest partnership, many labs cost only a fraction of the insurance rate, with pricing disclosed upfront.
Insurance cannot be used for your membership fee, and we do not bill insurance for any in-office services. Visits and most procedures are already included in your membership at no additional cost.
-
Even though a Highpoint membership will cover most of your healthcare needs, we recommend all patients still carry insurance in case of emergencies or high-cost, elective procedures. This is how insurance is supposed to work! Membership in Highpoint is not insurance, but rather an incomparable investment in your health.
-
Your membership covers the vast majority of your primary care needs, but there are a few items that fall outside the membership:
Specialist visits and hospital care
Medications, imaging, and labs billed through your insurance or paid cash
More invasive procedures or services that are specifically discussed as fee-for-service
Durable medical equipment (braces, boots, splints, etc.)
Vaccines
Costs from outside facilities, such as emergency rooms, urgent care centers, or surgery centers
We’ll always let you know upfront if something isn’t included and will help you find the most affordable option.
-
Our standard patient agreement is valid for one year, which is the recommended period for membership. We welcome patients who value the personalized care at Highpoint Direct Care, and there are no penalties for leaving - you can discontinue your membership at any time.
If you choose to rejoin the practice after leaving, a one-time re-enrollment fee* of $450 applies. Our goal is to make your experience flexible, transparent, and centered around your needs.
*Special circumstances may apply if discussed prior to cancellation.
